Wee Pirate and Wee Princess games are educational games that enhance early childhood development, including pattern and shape recognition as well as refinement of fine motor control skills.

Pattern and shape recognition are improved by identifying specific items that need to be found (and collected) on each level. Fine motor skills are also improved by having the child practice tapping on the specific elements they are looking for in order to collect them as they cascade down the screen. The games are designed for children as young as 6 months old and entertaining through and above age 6. We have received feedback from parents of their challenge to play into the higher levels of the games. The games ask children to help the Wee Princess or Wee Pirate find their lost treasures by tapping them as they move down the screen. There are dozens of beautifully illustrated treasures. The princess game includes items such as tiara’s, gems, shoes, earrings, necklaces, dresses, and wands. The pirate game includes items such as ships, parrots, barrels, hats, maps and gold coins. With each tap, the child receives feedback from the princess or pirate based on their action. The app verbally congratulates the child when they tap the correct treasure, or it encourages them to try again if they didn’t tap the right one. The game gets progressively more difficult in each level as more and more treasures and different combinations of treasures need to be collected, and as the treasures cascade faster and faster down the screen.
There are an unlimited number of levels included in the game, so children can continue to be challenged and keep improving as long as they wish!
